  • Treat other players with respect and offer help whenever you are able. The best way to get new members is by being a positive, friendly player who others want to group with. We are each ambassadors for the Drop Bears name so help us make it a good one.

  • We do not tolerate any form of discrimination between people due to race, religion, gender, sexual preference, etc. We are all here to have fun and we want everyone to be comfortable in our groups.

  • We want everyone to get along well in the Drop Bears, but we understand that everyone is different and that conflict may arise. If you have an issue with another member, please first try resolving it by talking maturely with them. If this is unsuccessful, please contact an Officer to act as a mediator for conflict resolution.


    • FORUM

  • Important issues relating to the game and running of the guild will be posted on the forum, so please make sure you check in at least once a week to keep up to date with current guild events.

  • We encourage everyone to take part in any discussions on the forum - from guild related business to general off topic chit chat. We'd like to get to know you and make this guild a community!


    • GUILD RANKS

  • As we are now part of an alliance, you will receive permissions to talk over alliance chat only after we have got to know you a little better. Anyone speaking in alliance chat is an ambassador for the guild, so be sure that you act accordingly.

  • Your progression from Rookie to Member will come after 1 month, provided there are no issues in the meantime. Do not beg for promotion, as this is more likely to end in you being kicked out than getting what you whinge for.

  • Promotions above Member (except Advisor, see below) will be awarded on a merit basis and chosen by the existing Officers. DO NOT ask for these. If you aspire to become an officer then you should do your best to follow this charter and uphold the ideals of the Drop Bears, going above and beyond and being an example to all.

  • The Advisor rank is designed to highlight those with much game experience who are willing to help teach and guide the rest of us in aspects such as PvP, class roles, effective techniques, etc. If you believe you would suit this position, please send a forum private message to Jayven outlining your experience and why you think you would be an excellent Advisor.


    • GUILD TAXES AND TITHES

  • The tax rate for the Drop Bears is currently set at 5%. You may also set your own voluntary tithe rate by opening the Guild window in game, clicking the Rewards tab and clicking on the tithe amount.


    • GUILD VAULT

  • The guild bank vault is available to all members to use as a resource for sharing crafting materials, items and more. When taking items from the vault, please be courteous and try to replace what you take with other useful items or money when you are able. This will only work if we all do our part.

  • There is currently no way to limit the amount of items able to be withdrawn, so please use common sense and take only reasonable amounts of what you can use. We are trusting you to be mature and responsible - please prove us right.


    • VOICE CHAT

  • Voice chat is not, nor ever will be a requirement of the Drop Bears. We certainly do not mind if you do use it, but please remember that there are those who, for whatever reason, cannot. Any discrimination against those unable/unwilling to use voice will be harshly dealt with.

  • When using voice and running a group, please be aware of the limitations of your members and be prepared to offer text instructions and directions, should they be needed. Communication is key.
